Hi! I FINALLY got Sonny to do the circling game at a walk and trot in both directions!!! He has been doing REALLY good! Red has too..... I had a panic attack/not enough protein/my electrolites off and I started shaking and could NOT stop!!!!! I felt sick and I felt like !?**!? : -D! SO I didn't work w/ the horses much (DUH! LOL!!)....... Hey does anyone have any ideas on how to get Red to not be so attached to Rambo? I have separated them and everything! The only issue is the only 2 paddocks we have are right next to each other so they interact by and over the fence....... Well, please comment if you have any suggestions!

A Good Poem...
you miss half the fun of getting there
if you worry and hurry through your day
it's like an unopened gift
thrown away
Life is not a race
Do take is slower
hear the music
before the song is over."

Well, if you want advice from someone who has not much experiance with horses, then here's mine: keep one horse in the paddock with some sort of distraction (i have NO idea what that would be...anyway) and make sure he is occupied, then take the other horse on a walk around and try to keep that one distracted too. But ya know, i've never owned a horse in my life, so it may not work at all. i'm really mainly a dog person. ;)

Well it is an ongoing thing and Red FREAKS out if Rambo is out of sight and distractions only work for a certain amount of time and I need this thing to stop because Red will get real antsy and will run through things and if he doesn't stop it he could get himself hurt! Well gtg!

Well, since they've gotten attached already, it's going to be EXTREMELY hard to "unattach" them. You might just have to cope. Unless you move one horse totally to like another barn for a while and then keep them TOTALLY separated where there is no chance of physical contact or other types of contact (hearing each other) for a LONG TIME. If you can't do that, you're pretty much screwed.
