Ooops!

I forgot about y'all *hangs head in shame*.  I'm sorry!  But I have been working with the horses :).  I'll give y'all a more detailed post later this week if I can ;).  Sonny can smile if you have a carrot now :).  Toby trots under saddle too.  I might join a 4H club nearby where you bring your horse with you.  The only problem is that the lady is a little weird...

Today's Play Session (so far)

 'Ello for the second time today :).  lol.  So here is today's play session in a nutshell!

 His attitude was definitely not the best but after about 5 minutes he was doing great!  I stopped when I got 4 laps of trot without breaking gait and without me harping on him :).  I checked his driving game.  All good.  Then I decided to try Z5 driving since he seemed so connected.  It went swimmingly!  Every other time I had tried it he hadn't been ready.  We are now playing in L4!  *screams*  Woo Woo!  I only played with the Z5 Driving for a few minutes 'cause I wanted to end on a good note :).  I let him off and he followed me to the door of the porch.  I motioned him to come on and he did (!).  I groomed him then mom told me to come in to watch Anna Grace.  Sonny tried to follow me inside and waited by the door until about a half hour later and when I let him off of the porch he wouldn't go off until I did!!!!!!  I'm FINALLY getting somewhere FAST with this horse!

I'm starting 4-H and Sonny went EXTREME LBE during last nights play session!

So I FINALLY found a 4-H horse club in the area!  Woo Woo!  But you probably don't want to hear about that...

When we first started he was good.  His porcupine and driving was doing good.  And then we did the circling game with emphasis on the send :).  Well when I sent him he did EXACTLY what I wanted him to do and then he when TOTAL LBE!  AHH!!!  Bucking, striking (the air), running, playing, collecting himself, and just having fun.  It was so nice to watch him 'let loose'.  But when he took off like that he almost killed the dogs :}!  Levi and Jake like to herd the horses if they run and then when I got them to stop Sonny started to start jumping them O.O!  AGH!  Once he calmed down we played with a new way of how to changed direction that was on the new L3 online DVD.  After that we played with our...

We played with jumping, circle, and follow the rail.  I probably only rode for like 15-20 minutes?  He did good.  The only thing I can comment on is that he thought it was dinner time so he kept trying to go to the POD to get fed :}!

Undemanding Time with Toby

Sooooo I just got in from having some undemanding time with Toby and I had some fun :).  Me and my sibs were chattin' away and Toby was eating his hay :).  So peaceful!  I probably won't be posting much because I'm sick :(.  So I'll update when I feel better and am allowed to work with the horses!  :}
